National Fire Service College is a nationalized college. There are good placements and packages. Every year NFSC contacts their seniors and gains positive feedback. A lot of companies come and place four-year degree courses in fire engineers. 90% of students get placed in a company by the time they graduate from college.

The petrochemical industry and research-oriented companies are the most common employers of fire engineers. 

National Fire Service College is a nationalized college that also receives placement offers from the government. 

Each of the processes follows a certain procedure. Confirmation of the company's participation in the placements process is one of them. Company representatives give Pre-placement talks, student applications and shortlists are made, interviews and group discussions are held, and acceptances and job offers are made.

Many beneficial aspects of the NFSC placement cell include 96% placement in important Indian companies like IOC, ONGC, GAIL, SAIL,CPCL,OIL etc. On completion of the course, the candidate must prepare for a group discussion and an interview on the college campus, and the selected candidate will be given a placement letter. 

Without GATE, you can get into PSUs here. There is also the private sector, such as Reliance, Vedanta and Tata etc. Students can also apply for state government firefighter employment. Fire engineers are also needed in the defense sector. The Airport Authority of India has a lot of job openings. After in-person and off-site placements, 100% of students are placed. Off campus placements are also beneficial, such as moving abroad or working for private construction companies or in any profession that poses a fire hazard. You could also apply for the civil service, UPSC, or state PSC. In this line of work, experience boosts your worth. This year's  package was 26 lakh ONGC, 21 lakh GAIL, 19 lakh CPCL, 20 lakh IOCL, 19 lakh OIL, 14 lakh Vedant, 12 lakh Reliance,  8 lakh Narayan Energy and many more. The minimum package is 8 lakhs, and the average package is between 12 and 14 lakhs. Apart from Incampus placement there are lots of Opportunities on off campus in Hotel, Banks, Education, Abroad, Railway, Airports Authority etc. Also in recently circular released by Ministry of Home Affairs regards  Fire Engineering Course as a mandatory prerequisite in the recruitment rules for the posts of fire professionals.

National Fire Service College Internship

After being established in the year 1956, The alumni network of National Fire Service College has been decent. 6 months industrial training in CIDCO MUMBAI or DFS DELHI in the previous semester; you can also apply for internships in PSU, DRDO labs, etc. Internships are also available in a few private companies. 

Candidates are offered the option of visiting India's biggest enterprises as part of the curriculum, and they can choose project work done at these famous institutions almost free of charge. These project efforts are actually examined in these companies, and high remunerations are granted to trustworthy students who successfully complete the project.
